Bowling Green, Ky. – Freshman Chanda Bell, fresh off breaking Kentucky’s single season record for strikeouts on Tuesday, has now become the only Kentucky softball pitcher to throw a no-hitter. In seven innings of work, Bell struck out five and walked one as Kentucky edged Western Kentucky 1-0. Meagan Aull scored on a Natalie Smith sacrifice fly for UK’s lone run.
