BATON ROUGE, La. — With rain in the Baton Rogue area, the Southeastern Conference series opener, pitting No. 29 Kentucky at No. 3 LSU, has been postponed, with an estimated start time slated for 8:40-8:45 p.m. ET at the new Alex Box Stadium.

Kentucky (11-2) will start junior southpaw James Paxton (3-0, 3. 63 ERA) against LSU ace righty Anthony Ranaudo (2-0, 0.98 ERA). The game will mark the first conference contest played at the Alex Box.
