Cats Play Final Exhibition Game
Following a 111-53 win over Missouri-St. Louis in its preseason opener Monday night, Kentucky closes out exhibition play Saturday by hosting the Ouachita Baptist Tigers at Rupp Arena.
Junior Jodie Meeks led all scorers with 27 points. The Georgia native hit 7-of-13 three point shots. Sophomore Patrick Patterson and Josh Harrellson both added doubles doubles. Patterson scored 24 points while pulling down 11 rebounds. Harrellson added 21 points and a game high 12 rebounds.
As a team 55 percent from the field (40-of-73) and dished out 24 assists. The Wildcats also outrebounded the Tritons 58-23 while registering nine blocked shots and nine steals.
Kentucky opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 14, hosting VMI at Rupp Arena.
