Lexington, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team placed two seniors on the All-SEC Second Team as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Nicola Holdsworth and Kate Hughes were named All-SEC performers for the first time in both of their careers.

Holdsworth tied for the team scoring lead with 13 points on five goals and three assists. Ten of her points and four of her goals came in conference play including a two-goal effort and the golden goal in overtime against Mississippi State.

Hughes finished with three goals and seven points in conference play from her defender position.

Kentucky has had 21 different individuals win All-SEC honors 35 times in its history.
