LEXINGTON, Ky. – After the customary day off on Monday, the Kentucky football team turned in an energetic effort in practice Tuesday morning, Coach Rich Brooks said.
The Wildcats worked out for two hours in the climate-controlled Nutter Training Facility instead of the blustery temperature and wind outdoors.
“We came inside for a different reason, not because of inclement weather, but because we think it’s going to be a little warmer in Starkville than it is here in Lexington,” Brooks said. “We may come in here again tomorrow and judge Thursday as it comes. It was a good practice, good energy today.”
Brooks reported that safety Marcus McClinton (knee) and defensive tackle Myron Pryor (ankle) did not practice on Tuesday. The coach also noted that linebacker Micah Johnson did see practice action.
