Kentucky continues to climb the leaderboard moving into third place through two days of play in the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate. Tournament-leader senior Ben Fuqua fired a career record six-under-par 65 after knocking down four birdies in the final nine holes of play.
The 11th ranked, according to Golfweek, South Carolina, (281-280), leads the tournament with a four-under-par 280 in the second round. South Alabama, (288-279), took second place after carding the lowest team score of the day, 279, to give them a one-under-par for the tournament thus far. Fuqua continues to own the track, holding an one-shot lead over Jason Millard of Middle Tennessee State. Shooting one of the best tournaments of his career Fuqua is nine-under-par with 13 birdies, 19 pars and only four bogeys.
Senior Andy Winings is all even after 36 holes of golf, shooting a two-over-par 73. Moving up seven spots on the leaderboard freshman Mads Kristensen fired a 73 in the second round.
