LEXINGTON, Ky. — For the second consecutive year, Kentucky senior golfer Brad Doster (Winter Park, Fla.) has been selected as a Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar, recently announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

“Brad Doster has done a great job representing the University of Kentucky as a student-athlete,” UK head coach Brian Craig said. “He continues to be a leader for our team with how he approaches the challenges of playing golf in a premier conference while balancing the classroom demands that comes with an outstanding academic institution.”

This past season, Doster was a solid contributor for UK, competing in every spring event. Doster finished in the top-25 three times with his best performance coming in the Palmas Del Mar Intercollegiate in Huarenco, Puerto Rico, finishing 16th.

The Southeastern Conference had 12 players selected as Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars.

A total of 96 players earned the honor in Division I. To be eligible to be a Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar an individual must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, as well as participate in 70-percent of his team’s competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships with a stroke average under 76.0.

Doster graduated in May with a degree in Finance.
