LEXINGTON, Ky. ? Dates have been set for annual football fan events such as the Kroger Kickoff Luncheon, Women’s Clinic and Fan Day.

The annual
, presented by Kroger, is scheduled for Friday, August 1, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Lexington. The event will go from noon ? 1:30 p.m. and will include Coach Rich Brooks as the featured speaker, plus the highlight video from the 2007 Music City Bowl championship season.

A limited number of tickets remain. A table of 10 is available for $450 or individuals may attend at a cost of $45. The is set for Saturday, August 2, at the Nutter Training Center. The clinic is designed for women with all levels of football knowledge. Wildcat coaches make short presentations, followed by question-and-answer sessions. Your day with Wildcat football also includes a behind-the-scenes look at football facilities, autograph opportunities, a catered lunch, and a vendor with special UK items for browsing and shopping.

The tentative schedule features:

8:30 a.m. – Registration begins
9:30 a.m. – Welcome
9:45 a.m. – Introduction of Football Staff
10:15 a.m. ? Rules seminar
11:00 a.m. – Break
11:10 a.m. – Kentucky defense
11:40 a.m. – Kentucky offense
12:15 p.m. – Lunch / autograph session
1:15 p.m. – Kentucky special teams
2:00 p.m. – Clinic raffle
3:00 p.m. – Commonwealth Stadium
3:45 p.m. – Two-minute warning (wrapup session)

Fan Day
for Kentucky football is slated for Sat. Aug. 9 at Commonwealth Stadium. Stadium gates 4 and 9 open at 6:30 p.m., when posters and schedule cards will be given away. There will be special activities on the stadium concourse, including the giant inflatable games for young Wildcats. The first 2,000 fans will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and drink (redeemable on Fan Day only).

Coach Brooks and the team will be introduced at 7:15 p.m., followed by an autograph session with the Wildcat coaches and players. An equipment stand will be set up and fans can try on UK helmets and shoulder pads. UK athletic trainers also will have a station, demonstrating ankle taping and other activities. The autograph session ends at 9 p.m. and the event concludes with a fireworks show.

Season Tickets Available: Season tickets for Kentucky’s seven-game home schedule are available for purchase.

Upper-level sideline seats at Commonwealth Stadium cost $230 each and upper-level corner seats are $195 each. Lower-level seats are sold out. Tickets may be purchased online at UKathletics.com or by calling (859) 257-1818 or 1-800-928-CATS.
