The Kentucky women?s soccer team opens its spring schedule this weekend when they host border rival Indiana on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the UK Soccer Complex.

The match marks the first of four home games for UK in the spring season. Following Saturday?s contest, the Wildcats will host Western Kentucky on Saturday, April 5 before heading to Louisville on Saturday, April 12. UK will return home for their final two matches of the spring on Tuesday, April 15 against Morehead State and Sunday, April 20 against Charlotte.

The Wildcats return four of their top five scorers, as well as seven starters, from last year?s squad that finished 10-7-3 and qualified for its 15th straight SEC Tournament.

This weekend?s spring lidlifter includes a Hoosier squad that was ranked 21st in the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll of the 2007 season. IU, who returns eight starters, finished the season 13-7-3, including a trip to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

Admission to all home games is free of charge.
