The 51st ranked Kentucky men?s golf travels to Awendaw, S.C. to play in the fourth annual Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate against an all-star field that includes six teams ranked in the nation?s top-25.
The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate is a premier collegiate tournament that is played at the par-72, 7,014 yard Bulls Bay golf Club. The format includes 54-holes played over three 18-hole rounds beginning March 23rd at 9 a.m. ET.
The Wildcats are coming off an impressive eighth place finish last weekend in a field that included seven of the top-15 schools in the nation. Kentucky was led by junior Andy Winings who finished tied for the eighteenth spot and recorded his first collegiate hole-in-one on the last day of tournament play.

Two weeks ago Kentucky finished in second-place at the Palmas Del Mar Intercollegiate and they finished in first-place at the lid lifter of the spring season in the Pat Hicks Invitational. The Wildcats have not finished outside of the top-10 all season.
This week the Cats will face another stellar field of teams from across the Southeastern Conference and the nation. Six teams are ranked in the top-25 according to golfweek.com. This week Kentucky will face some familiar SEC opponents when they see ninth ranked Florida, 14th ranked Auburn and 15th ranked South Carolina. The Hootie tournament also brings the best from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The 12th ranked Duke Blue Devils, 17th ranked Wake Forest and 21st ranked Clemson will come in to set up an exciting match between the two top conferences in men?s golf.
