TUSCALOOSA, Ala.?The University of Kentucky women?s golf team concluded the UA-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Alabama tied for 15th Sunday.

Kentucky senior Beth Felts enjoyed a stellar turn-around after firing an 89 in the second round, the senior concluded play with a team-best 74 score on the final 18 holes of play. She finished the tournament in a tie for 85th, but it was her final round of play that highlighted Kentucky?s conclusion to its fall season.

Sophomore Erica Still was the Blue and White?s top finisher placing in a tie for 41st with a final round score of 80. Freshmen Louise Ljungstedt and Emma Eksell fired rounds of 85 and 81, respectively to place 70th and 73rd. Kentucky?s leading scorer Mallory Blackwelder withdrew from the tournament in the final round.

Arkansas took top team honors, with their own Stacy Lewis earning the individual crown. Lewis was even for the 54-hole event.

The UA-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate concludes the Wildcats? fall slate. The women return to action Feb. 17, 2008, in the Papa John?s Collegiate in Miami, Fla.
