The Kentucky women?s soccer team (6-4-2, 0-4-0 SEC) finally returns home for the first time in nearly a month to take on the 14th ranked Tennessee Lady Vols and the 18th ranked Georgia Bulldogs.

The Wildcats are in dire need of a win in conference play after starting the season with four straight losses for the first time in program history.

UK does have home-field advantage working as the Wildcats have produced a 4-0-0 record at the UK Soccer Complex this season.

?It?s always nice to play in front of the home fans,? said head coach Warren Lipka. ?We?re in a position where we need to pick up some wins and having the comforts of our own home and routine will go a long way in helping us get the results we want.?

Kentucky owns a 7-8-0 all-time mark against Tennessee (7-2-2, 2-1-1) including a 2-3-0 record at the UKSoccer Complex. The Wildcats won both meetings against the Lady Vols last season.

Kentucky is 4-7-2 all-time against Georgia (10-1-1, 3-0-1) which includes a 3-3-1 mark in Lexington. However, the Bulldogs have won six of the last seven matches and are on an eight-match unbeaten streak against UK.

UKopens its longest home stand of the season with Tennessee. After opening the SECseason with four straight road matches, Kentucky will now host four straight league matches. The Wildcats are on an SECfive-match unbeaten streak at home dating back to last season.

The weekend also represents the third and fourth straight matches that the Wildcats will face a ranked opponent. UK dropped matches at No. 20 South Carolina (2-0) and No. 25 Florida (1-0) last weekend on the road.

Kickoff against the Lady Vols is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the UK Soccer Complex. Fans will have one final opportunity to win last second tickets to Big Blue Madness as 30 tickets will be given away. It will also be UK Student Night as the first 50 UK students with a valid ID will receive a free hot dog (limit one per person). Sunday?s kickoff against the Bulldogs is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Live stats for both matches are available on UKathletics.com.
