KINGSTON, Ontario ? As the build up to the FIFA U-20 World Cup hosted by Canada intensifies, former Kentucky standout Michael D?Agostino continues to add to his standing with the Canadian U-20 National Team, earning a pair of caps in a two-game friendly series against the United States this past week.

The series began on Sunday in Ottawa, where the U.S. scored a 4-1 victory, using a pair of late goals to put the game away. In that game, D?Agostino came off the bench in the 68th minute.

Wednesday in Kingston, Ontario, was a different story as D?Agostino made a start in the midfield and contributed to a 4-0 drubbing of the red, white and blue.

With the two caps, D?Agostino has now earned 14 for the Canada U-20 team since he saw his first action with the team in January 2005. Four of those have come against the U.S. and the two this past week pushes his 2007 total to three.

The 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup begins in Toronto, Canada, on July 1. Final squads have yet to be announced for the world?s second largest soccer tournament. Two years ago, UK star Riley O?Neill competed for Canada in the U-20 World Cup in Holland.
