LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky junior left-handed pitcher Andrew Albers has been named to the CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-District second team in district four, as announced on Thursday.
Albers, a native of North Battleford, SK, has been a fixture on the Wildcat pitching staff since his freshman year in 2005. The junior has posted a team-best 6-3 record and a 4.71 ERA, while leading UK to a 31-16-1 record.
