AMES, Iowa and BLACKSBURG, Va. – Several Kentucky athletes improved their season-best marks and notched qualifying marks for the upcoming NCAA Championships at Last Chance events hosted by Iowa State and Virginia Tech on Saturday.

The NCAA Championships take place March 9-10 in Fayetteville, Ark.

At the Lied Recreational Center in Ames, Iowa, senior Georganne Way and junior Lavera Morris each notched provisional-qualifying and personal-best marks in the women’s 800 meter.
