LEXINGTON, Ky. ? The University of Kentucky women?s golf team returns to action Feb. 24-26 in the ACC/SEC Chrysler Challenge, hosted by Florida State in Sandestin, Fla.

Kentucky was last in action in their spring season opening tournament the Baja Invitational, Feb. 5-6.

Junior Beth Felts led the team with a 12th place showing, easily the best of any Wildcat in the 2006-07 season. Felts shot a 76-77, in the shortened tournament. Dense fog shortened round two on day one, and forced a cancellation of the third and final round.

This is the third time this season Felts has led the team in scoring, and first of the spring campaign.

In addition to her team leading three-tournaments with the best finish, Felts is pacing the Wildcats in final round action. The Chattanooga, Tenn., native?s per round average for the final round is 76.80.

Freshman Erica Still continues to lead the blue and white in several statistical categories. The freshman tops her teammates in scoring average (78.21), first round average (77.20), par three scoring (3.39), par five scoring (5.11) and pars per round (10.21). The Waycross, Ga., native has also carded 24 birdies on the season, a team-best mark.

Joining Kentucky in the field of representatives for the Southeastern Conference are Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
