President Bush’s address to the nation Wednesday night (9:00 p.m. ET) will cause Lincoln Financial Sports’ Kentucky area affiliates who are also affiliates of CBS, NBC, ABC or Fox to make alternate arrangements for Wednesday’s UK-Auburn basketball game (starts at 8:00 p.m. ET). Listed below is how each station is handling the speech as regards their respective airing of the Kentucky-Auburn telecast:
WBKO, Bowling Green – Leave LFS broadcast for speech only, then return to game.
WSAZ, Charleston, WV – Moving entire game to WSAZ-DT
WTVW, Evansville – Leave LFS broadcast for speech only, then return to game.
WKYT, Lexington – Leave LFS broadcast for speech only, then return to game. Portion preempted will air on WKYT-DT (CW affiliate)
WAVE, Louisville – Leave LFS broadcast for speech only, then return to game.
KFVS, Paducah – Leave LFS broadcast for speech only, then return to game.
The speech is scheduled for 20-25 minutes.
