Due to the high interest in the University of Kentucky Winter Camp on Dec, 2, the softball team will hold a four-week Blue Chip Hitting Clinic in January. The clinic will be held on Monday nights throughout the month of January, beginning Jan. 8, and is designed to offer insight on the offensive techniques used at UK.

The clinic will focus on specialized drills to enhance the fundamentals of the swing, as well as improve bat speed. A digital breakdown of the swing will also be done through video analysis. This is a great opportunity to train and improve before your season begins.

The Hitting Clinic will take place in the Nutter Field House, UK?s nationally renowned and state-of-the-art indoor training facility. It is available for players ages 12-18 years of age with a limit of 12 campers per session for more individualized instruction. Time slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost for the clinic is $40 per session or $130 for all four sessions.
