Senior Kentucky goalie Anne Ogundele has been named to the SoccerBuzz Elite Team of the Week as announced by the organization this afternoon.

Ogundele led the Wildcats (7-5-2, 2-2-1) to two more shutouts, this time recording clean sheets against ranked opponents South Carolina and Florida. Ogundele helped UK defeat South Carolina 1-0 behind three saves. She then held the Florida Gators scoreless for 110 minutes totaling 200 scoreless minutes on the weekend. She has recorded three consecutive shutouts and is on a 280 consecutive minute scoreless streak. Ogundele has now recorded eight shutouts this season, the second most by a UK goalie in program history.

Ogundele is the second Wildcat to win the honor this season and the third in school history. Megan Jones received the award on September 12 earlier this year.
