The University of Kentucky softball team will face four schools from the Bluegrass State during its fall schedule. All of the fall contests will be played at the UK Softball Complex.

The fall slate kicks off on September 24 when the Cats host Lindsey Wilson for a pair of games. The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. On September 27, UK will play a twinbill with Georgetown College, which is set to begin at 6 p.m.

The schedule continues on October 1 when Kentucky Wesleyan comes to town for a pair of games. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 4 p.m. with the second game immediately following. The fall wraps up on October 4 when the Cats host Bellarmine for a 6 p.m. showdown.

The Wildcats return 11 players from the 2006 squad that finished 21-36 on the year. Kentucky also welcomes seven newcomers to the roster of third-year head coach Eileen Schmidt.
