University of Kentucky golfer Brad Doster has been named to the PING All-Region Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Each of the nine PING All-Region teams are comprised of 15 golfers and any player ranked in the top 75 nationally in either Golfstat or the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. Members of the PING All-Region teams are eligible for PING All-America honors.

Doster has had an outstanding sophomore season for the Wildcats, finishing in the top-10 a team-best four times. The Winter Park, Fla., native fired a career low 66 in the third and final round of the Southeastern Conference championships en route to a 14th place finish in that tournament. Doster?s best finish of the year came when he tied for third at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational, Mar. 18-19, after finishing five-under par with a total score of 211 (69-70-72).

Doster and his Wildcats are currently sixth after one round at the NCAA Championships at Crosswater Golf Course in Sunriver, Ore. The four-day tournament continues today as the Cats tee off at 5:17 p.m. ET.
