After finishing 13th at last weekend?s NCAA Southeast Regional, senior Allison Grace was one of 38 individuals to earn an automatic berth at next Monday?s (Nov. 21) NCAA Division I Women?s Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.

The first four athletes from each region who were not a part of a qualifying team and two additional qualifiers were selected to participate at the championships.

For Grace, it is her second consecutive NCAA Championships appearance after finishing 68th last year. This season, the Marble Cliff, Ohio native earned All-SEC honors for a third time after finishing third at the conference meet. Last weekend in Greenville, N.C., Grace finished 13th en route to All-Region honors for a second straight season. Grace has crossed the finish first for the Cats 11 straight times dating back to last season.

Indiana State University will host the 2005 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships, at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course located at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, Terre Haute, Ind. The women?s race will be at 1:15 p.m. Eastern time and cover 6,000 meters.
