The University of Kentucky of women?s cross country team was recently recognized in the FinishLynx NCAA Division I Cross Country poll. The Cats are one of nine teams receiving votes after finishing fourth at last weekend’s SEC Championships. Senior Allison Grace paced the squad with a third place individual finish, earning her a third All-SEC honor. It is the first time since October 13th of 2003 the women harriers have cracked the polls. Kentucky also earned mention in the recent regional rankings, grabbing the sixth spot in the Southeast Region. UK will travel to Greenville, N.C. for the NCAA Southeast Regional meet Saturday, Nov. 12, at host East Carolina.
