Burton, Bankhead are Probable for Mississippi State Game: Wide receiver Keenan Burton, recovering from a broken foot, and running back Terrell Bankhead, on the mend after wrist surgery, are expected to be available for the Mississippi State game, Coach Rich Brooks announced following Wednesday morning?s practice at the Nutter Training Facility.

Brooks said that Burton (Louisville, Ky.) and Bankhead (San Diego, Calif.) went through all of Wednesday?s practice and, barring any setbacks, should be available to play against the Bulldogs on Saturday.

In those two games, he caught six passes for 144 yards, an average of 24 yards per reception, with one touchdown. He also averaged 36.6 yards on kickoff returns and returned one punt for 30 yards. Bankhead has been contributing on special teams.

Huffman a Quarterfinalist for Lott Trophy: Senior cornerback Antoine Huffman has been named a quarterfinalist for the Ronnie Lott IMPACT Trophy.

The Lott Trophy, now in its second year of existence, is the first collegiate sports award based on both on-the-field and off-the-field performance. The trophy is given to the college football IMPACT (integrity, maturity, performance, academics, character, tenacity) Player of the Year. It is given by The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, located in Newport Beach, Calif.

A starting cornerback, Huffman (Jonesboro, Ga.) has made 20 tackles this season and leads the team in pass breakups with three.
