LEXINGTON ? The Kentucky men?s soccer returns to action Friday when it hosts No. 25 Tulsa at the UK Soccer Complex.

The Wildcats are coming off a 2-1 loss to Central Florida after forcing a tie against Florida International to open Conference USA action last weekend. Meanwhile, the Golden Hurricane recorded a pair of draws to open league play.

?We played probably our best game of the year against FIU, but couldn?t match that level at UCF,? Collins said. ?It doesn?t get any easier for us this weekend with Tulsa and SMU. Both games will be a big challenge for us and I expect some quality action for the fans.?

After opening the year 3-1-1, Kentucky is winless in its last five outings, but three of those outings have resulted in a tie. The Wildcats have already matched the school record with four draws this year.

The two teams met in Dallas for the first time last year, a 2-1 Tulsa win. In the game, Kentucky had a man sent off and had the go-ahead goal called back on a questionable offside call early in the second half.

?Last year I felt like we played Tulsa really well,? Collins said. ?I thought we were a bit unlucky to come away with a loss in a game we probably should have won.?

Kentucky puts its seven-game home-unbeaten streak on the line in the contest. The Wildcats have blanked six straight opponents and have not allowed a goal in their last 664:11 of action at home.

?We feel like we have one of the best home-field advantages in the country,? Collins said. ? Our students and fans have always done a great job supporting us and I expect them to be a big factor this weekend.?

Fans get in free if they wear a soccer jersey and UK soccer scarves will be thrown out to the crowd. Also, fans will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to Big Blue Madness.
