Men's Tennis

The Kentucky men?s tennis team will begin play Friday at the Georgia Tech Invitational at the Bill Moore Tennis Center. The tournament will consist of 64 players from 14 colleges.

Representing the Wildcats this weekend will be senior Carey Rubin, along with freshmen Marcus Sundh and Kenny Hodge. These three last competed in the Virginia Fall Invitational two weekends ago. Rubin picked up three victories that weekend, while Sundh notched his first win of the fall season.

?This is an important tournament for us this weekend,? head coach Dennis Emery said. ?This tournament gives us chance to have our guys who haven?t played a lot this fall get the opportunity to compete against top players from other schools.?

Play begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday and runs through Sunday. Fans can check daily for recaps at ukathletics.com.
