Three games on the Kentucky women?s basketball 2005-06 schedule have been changed due to scheduling conflicts, Coach Mickie DeMoss announced Tuesday.
The exhibition game vs. Ohio Girls Basketball Magazine, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 11, will move to Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. ET in Memorial Coliseum. The matchup with Georgetown University originally scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 4 at Rupp Arena will now be played in Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. ET and the regular-season finale vs. Alabama on Sunday, Feb. 26 will move to Rupp Arena at 2 p.m. ET.
?We?ve adjusted some game times and dates to accommodate a scheduling conflict with an opponent,? DeMoss said. ?This will allow us to meet Alabama on Senior Day at Rupp Arena, which is a nice thing for our senior class and will still allow fans the opportunity to see us play four times at Rupp. We really appreciated the people at Rupp Arena for working with us on this change.?
UK also meets Louisville (Dec. 28), Auburn (Jan. 19) and Tennessee (Jan. 26) in Rupp Arena this season.
