LEXINGTON — Kentucky’s saturday baseball game against Vanderbilt, originally scheduled for 2 p.m., has been delayed to a 6:30 p.m. start time due to inclement weather in the area.
A doubleheader will be played beginning at 1 p.m. with each game lasting seven innings.
In game one, Kentucky will start junior left-hander Aaron Tennyson (6-1, 4.02) against fellow junior southpaw Ryan Mullins (5-1, 3.49). The Wildcats are 5-0 in SEC play when Tennyson starts.
Freshman lefty Andrew Albers (4-5, 4.50) will take the hill in game two for Kentucky against Vandy left-hander David Price (2-4, 2.55).
Giveaways will dominate the day as fans will have the opportunity to win all sorts of prizes, including floor seats to UK basketball games each day. Two floor seats to the UK-North Carolina game during game one while UK-Louisville floor seats will be awarded in game two.
Other items that fans can win include free airline tickets, Kentucky football helmets and baseball jerseys as well as rounds of golf at the University Club.
Vanderbilt won game one of the series on Friday, 8-0.
