TEMPE, Ariz. ? At the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe Ariz., Saturday, junior Dedrick Tillerson and freshman Justin Harrison both improved on their previous regional qualifying times. Tillerson crossed the finish line with a personal-best time of 52.09 in the men?s 400-meter hurdles, while Harrison recorded a time of 46.92 in the men?s 400-meters.

The Kentucky sprints squad reeled in even more success as two other athletes tallied a season-best and personal-best marks. Junior Tom Masthay finished with a season-best time of 52.86 in the men?s 400-meter hurdles, while freshman Nathan Browning marked a personal-best time of 47.77 in that same race.

The men?s 4×400-meter team finished in the top-five with a time of 3:10.42. The foursome was comprised of Nathan Browning, Justin Harrison, Gabe McLaren and Dedrick Tillerson. Freshman Gabe McLaren also finished fifth in the men?s 800-meters with a time of 1:51.45.

The squad hits the road again next weekend, when it travels to the Titan Invitational in San Diego, Calif., April 22-23.
