The University of Kentucky men?s golf team will return to action this weekend, Mar. 27-29, at the first annual Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Charleston, S.C. This weekend is the final tournament before the Southeastern Conference championships in April.
?This is a great field and another opportunity for us to see how we stack up against the best teams in the nation,? said head coach Brian Craig. ?This is also our last chance to compete before the SEC Championship next month. We need for our seniors to step up, play like they are capable and lead this team to the type of performance that we have become accustomed to.?
The College of Charleston, Clemson and South Carolina will serve as host teams for this tournament which benefits The Hootie and The Blowfish Foundation.
Alabama, Auburn, Augusta State, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, UK, LSU, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest make up the rest of the impressive 15-team field.
Play begins Sunday and Monday at 9:30 a.m. The third and final round is slated to start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
