PINEHURST, N.C.-The University of Kentucky women?s golf team travels to Pinehurst N.C., for the College of Charleston Edwin Watts/Pinehurst Challenge Mar. 6-8. The 18-team field includes intrastate rival Louisville, and Southeastern Conference foe Mississippi State.

Tournament play will take place at Pinehurst on course #8, which is a 6,009 yard, par 72 course. Sunday and Monday?s 18-holes will consist of tee-time rounds each day. Tuesday will be an 18-hole shotgun start which will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Last meet the UK women?s golf team shot a season-low 300 to finish ninth at the Papa John?s Collegiate Golf Tournament. The team was led by UK freshman Elizabeth Dotson, who tied her career-low round of 72 today to finish tied for 17th with a three-day score of 228 (77-79-72).
