Kentucky (7-4, 0-1) heads to Oxford after suffering a 5-2 defeat Friday at Mississippi State. The Cats took the doubles point, and senior Jesse Witten earned his sixth-consecutive win at No. 1 singles, but the Bulldogs took the remaining five singles matches to clinch the win.

Ole Miss (9-1, 1-0) presents another formidable opponent for the Cats. The Rebels feature the defending SEC Player of the Year in fourth-ranked senior Catalin Gard, who defeated UK?s Witten a season ago at the Charles Fluitt Invitational and in the Cats? two dual-match losses to the Rebels. Gard is joined in the ITA singles rankings by Jakob Klaeson at No. 52 and No. 80 Karim Alayli. The Rebels have won 19 consecutive regular-season home matches dating back to 2003 and opened conference play Friday with a 7-0 defeat of Vanderbilt in Oxford.
