Message from Coach Craig Skinner
The UK Volleyball clinic will provide coaches the opportunity to build on their current philosophy. Acquiring knowledge about coaching is the best way for you to evolve in this profession and help you develop a winning program. Throughout my coaching career, I have been fortunate enough to have worked with the best volleyball minds in the country. Each one of them has contributed in one way or another to my current style and philosophy of training. This may range from the way I train a skill to the way I try and prepare our team for competition.
The clinicians we have brought in for this year?s event are very well respected in the high school and club coaching communities throughout the Midwest. They have won state championships, national titles and have developed athletes to compete at the highest level in college. They will, without a doubt, add drills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to your own coaching repertoire.
On Friday night of the clinic, we will run a practice with our team that will mirror what we do on a daily basis. Our goal here at Kentucky is to win SEC Championships and bring this program to national prominence. We hope you enjoy the weekend and if we can help you or your program in any way, please contact our office.
Sincerely,
Craig Skinner
Head Coach
