Kentucky hits the road for its last pair of non-conference matches this weekend, as the Cats head to Michigan and Ohio State. UK takes on No. 29 Michigan at 2 p.m. EST Saturday in Ann Arbor. Live scoring will be available at ukathletics.com via mgoblue.com.
The seventh-ranked Cats (9-3) have won three-consecutive matches, each over Big Ten opponents. UK surrendered only one point, collectively, in wins over Minnesota, Purdue and Indiana.
Kentucky and Michigan last met two seasons ago in Lexington, as the Wolverines claimed their first victory over the Cats in seven attempts. Michigan?s 13th-ranked doubles tandem of Michelle DaCosta and Kara Delicata eliminated UK?s sixth-ranked duo of Sarah Foster and Aibika Kalsarieva from the 2004 NCAA Doubles Championships. DaCosta and Kalsarieva likely will go head-to-head again in singles and doubles play at the No. 1 positions on Saturday.
