Coming off of one of the biggest wins in the Mickie DeMoss era and the first Kentucky win over a ranked team in five seasons, the UK Hoops team will look to carry its momentum into its next game vs. Ole Miss. The Cats will play host to the Lady Rebels on Sunday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. ET in Memorial Coliseum. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free Mickie DeMoss mask. Single-game general admission tickets are available for $5 adults/$2 senior citizens and children ages 18 and under. UK students, faculty and staff are admitted free with valid identification. The Wildcats (12-5, 1-1 Southeastern Conference) were led by freshman center Sarah Elliott?s team-high 15 points, as one of four players in double figures, and senior forward Keiko Tate?s team-high eight rebounds in the 71-63 upset victory Thursday. Kentucky used a 24-4 run to wipe out a two-point deficit and stake to a 35-17 lead with six minutes remaining in the first half of the game.

?The win over Georgia was a great win for our program, but now we?ve got to focus on playing Ole Miss Sunday,? UK Coach Mickie DeMoss said. ?We?ve been talking about getting that statement win for a long time, and I think the fact that we were able to get it will really help us confidence-wise.?

Kentucky is led by senior guard/forward Sara Potts and her team-high 14.6 points, while Elliott follows with 11.3 ppg. Junior forward/center Jennifer Humphrey is bringing down a team-high 7.7 rebounds per game. Sophomore point guard Angela Phillips is the team?s leader in assists, dishing out 70 this season.

Ole Miss (11-4, 1-1 SEC) is coming off an 85-73 win over Arkansas at home last Sunday. The Lady Rebels are coached by Carol Ross, the 2004 SEC Co-Coach of the Year, in her second year at Ole Miss. She holds an overall record of 275-139, 28-18 at UM. Prior to Ole Miss, Ross served as the head coach at Florida for 12 seasons.

Sophomore guard Armintie Price paces Ole Miss with a team-high 15.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and squad-best 54 steals per game. Price has recorded double-doubles in five of her last seven games and leads the SEC in steals and rebounding. Senior forward/center Amber Watts chips in 13.0 ppg.

The Lady Rebels lead the all-time series with the Cats 18-5, including an 8-2 mark in Lexington. Ole Miss won the teams? only meeting last season 90-88 in double-overtime. The Wildcats won the last meeting in Memorial Coliseum, 83-66 in 2003. DeMoss is 0-1 vs. the Rebels all-time as a head coach, while Ross is 11-4 against UK in her career.

This is Kentucky?s final home game until Thursday, Jan. 27. The Cats will travel to Starkville, Miss., Thursday, Jan. 20 to take on Mississippi State at 8 p.m. ET. UK then travels to Mickie DeMoss? hometown of Knoxville, Tenn., to take on the nationally-ranked Tennessee Lady Volunteers and DeMoss? former boss Pat Summitt on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. ET.
