Kentucky rebounded from a second-half deficit to record a 20-point win over Ball State Tuesday and hopes to keep the momentum going as it hosts Georgia State at Rupp Arena Friday.
Patrick Sparks led the Wildcats in scoring for the second time in as many games with a 20-point effort against Ball State. Sparks is an impressive 11-of-18 from the floor early in the season and is shooting 53.8 percent (7-of-13) from beyond the arc.
Shagari Alleyne provided a spark off the bench for the Cats, tallying a careerhigh 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting. Kentucky improved to 8-1 all-time in US Bank Arena with the win. All-America candidate Chuck Hayes recorded his secondconsecutive double-double of the year with 10 points and 11 rebounds against the Cardinals.
Tip-off for the Georgia State game is set for 8 p.m., a change from the original start time of 7 p.m. The tip time was adjusted to accommodate the live statewide broadcast on the UKTV Network.

Scouting Georgia State
Georgia State opened the season last weekend at the Jim Thorpe Classic in Reno, Nev. The Panthers earned a season-opening victory over Southern Miss, 70-68, before falling to host Nevada, 76-55.
Senior Marcus Brown tallied 20 points in the victory over Southern Miss and was a perfect 4-for-4 from three in the game.
GSU coach Michael Perry is in his third season with the Panthers and holds a 31-19 career record. He guided the 2003-04 GSU squad to a 20-9 overall record and a 14-6 mark in Atlantic Sun action.
