Kentucky senior All-American Aibika Kalsarieva and sophomore Sarah Foster begin singles and doubles play in the ITA National Indoor Championships Thursday in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Foster was named the first alternate in the singles draw and has been inserted into the singles bracket after California?s Sasha Podkolzina withdrew from the tournament. Foster will meet Florida?s Zerene Reyes in the opening round.

Kalsarieva, who qualified for the tournament by winning the ITA Southeast Regional, meets Stanford?s Alice Barnes in the opening round. Incidentally, Foster and Kalsarieva would meet each other in the next round if they are victorious Thursday.

Foster and Kalsarieva will face the second-seeded pair of Catrina and Christian Thompson of Notre Dame in the doubles draw.
