Kentucky senior Aibika Kalsarieva and sophomore Sarah Foster represent the top singles and doubles seeds this weekend at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Kalsarieva, the singles runner-up in this event a year ago, claimed the top seed in the singles main draw, which begins Friday, while Foster took the fifth seed. Foster and Kalsarieva also team up to form the tournament?s top-seeded doubles pair. The nation?s third-ranked tandem earned a first-round bye and will open doubles play on Friday.

UK senior Emily Foster can qualify for the singles main draw with two victories Thursday in the qualifying round, where she would join fellow Wildcats Christine Simpson, Danielle Petrisko, Kim Coventry, Joelle Schwenk, Lara Maurer and the aforementioned Sarah Foster and Kalsarieva. The doubles pairs of Emily Foster/Lara Maurer and Danielle Petrisko/Christine Simpson kick off the doubles main draw Thursday.
