LEXINGTON ? The Louisville-Winthrop men?s soccer match in the UK Invitational, originally scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday at the UK Soccer Complex, has been moved to Cardinal Park in Louisville and will kick off at 9 p.m. The Kentucky-Georgia Southern game, slated for 7:30 p.m., is still on schedule.

The opening game was moved due to heavy rains in the Lexington area that have soaked the playing field at the UK Soccer Complex.

The movement of the game allows the Kentucky grounds crew to spend extra time preparing the field between the women?s soccer team?s 1:30 p.m. match and the 7:30 p.m. men?s match.

Sunday?s schedule will remain the same with Louisville taking on Georgia Southern at Noon. Kentucky and Winthrop will follow that game at 2:30 p.m.
