University of Kentucky head women?s soccer coach Warren Lipka has begun his second stint as assistant coach in charge of goalkeepers with the U.S. Under-19 Women?s Soccer team at the CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament in Montreal, Quebec.

Lipka, now in his 13th season at Kentucky, is in his second year with the U-19 National Team after touring Germany and the Netherlands with the team last summer. Heading into tonight?s match against Costa Rica, Lipka?s goalkeepers have surrendered only one goal in decisive victories over the weekend against the Dominican Republic and Trinidad & Tobago.

A victory tonight against Costa Rica would give the United States sole possession of first place in Group B and would prime the U.S. team for a berth in the 2004 FIFA Under-19 Women?s World Championship later this fall in Thailand.
