Lexington, (Ky.) ? Kentucky will have its final home game of the 2004 season when it plays host to the Murray State Thoroughbreds on Wednesday evening at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The Wildcats stand at 23-27 under first-year head coach John Cohen, and also have a road series with Vanderbilt remaining on the schedule. Murray State comes to Lexington with a 16-32 mark on the season.

UK leads the all-time series with Murray, 4-3. The two teams last met back in 1999 when Kentucky beat the Breds, 10-9, in Lexington. The Cats won 20-3 the season before. The last time Murray beat UK was in the 1997 season.
