The Kentucky softball team will play host to the Indiana Hoosiers in its last home games of the season Wednesday at 4 and 6 p.m. at the UK Softball Complex. The UK men?s basketball and football teams will face off in a home-run derby contest in between the contests.

UK (24-27-1) dropped two of three against SEC opponent Arkansas over the weekend. Freshman pitcher Gretchen Prugh pitched a seven-inning no-hitter in the first game of the series, the first in school history, before it was broken up in extra innings. The Cats are led by Rachel Friberg?s .359 batting average. The senior also leads the team in hits with 55.

The Hoosiers (28-27) took a split with Michigan State over the weekend, dropping the first game, 6-4, in 10 innings before coming back to take game two 8-3. IU collected 18 hits and scored 12 runs on the day. Tori Yamaguchi, who is hitting .337, including 55 hits, leads the Hoosiers followed by Karly McCormack, who is hitting .311 with 47 hits.
