Lexington, (Ky.) ? The Kentucky baseball team will play host to the Evansville Purple Aces on Tuesday at Cliff Hagan Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. (ET). The Wildcats are 12-5 on the season and have won four of their last five games. Evansville enters the contest with a 9-5 record. The Purple Aces have lost their last two games, a 13-9 decision to Temple and a 12-1 defeat at the hands of Florida International. Prior to that, Evansville had won nine consecutive games.
Kentucky leads the all-time series, 7-3, between the two schools, which have not met since 1986 when the Cats won, 11-7, in Evansville.
