Lexington, (Ky.) ? Coming off a 12-7 loss at the hands of East Tennessee State on Wednesday, the Kentucky baseball team will host the Wright State Raiders in a three-game series at Cliff Hagan Stadium this weekend, starting with a 4 p.m. tilt on Friday afternoon. The Wildcats now stand at 7-3 on the season, after having won five games in a row prior to Wednesday?s loss.

Wright State enters the contest with a 2-4 record on the season. They are led by Ross Vagedes? .450 batting average. The Raiders most recently lost at Austin Peay, 9-8, in the final game of a three-game set. Wright State took the middle game, 9-1.

Kentucky will send senior Seth Stanley (3-0) to the mound on Friday. He has been impressive thus far in 2004, he has posted a 3.60 earned run average in 15.0 innings of work and has struck out 22 batters.

First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday, followed by 1 p.m. starts on Saturday and Sunday.
