Miami, Fla. ? The Kentucky softball team?s third game of the Fun and Sun Classic against Illinois State has been cancelled due to inclement weather in Miami, Fla. The Cats are 2-0 on the season after defeating Florida A & M 9-0 and Florida International 3-2, the best start for UK in school history.

The squad returns to action February 7-8, when they travel to Monroe, La., for the Mardi Gras Classic. The Cats will face La.-Lafayette, La-Monroe, Georgia Tech and Gardner Webb in the two-day tournament.
