The 10th-ranked University of Kentucky men?s tennis squad heads to Athens, Ga., for four days of competition beginning Thursday at the SEC Indoors held at the University of Georgia. The event marks Kentucky?s initial return to competition since November?s Georgia Fall Invitational, also in Athens.
The tournament figures to be among the most competitive fields in the country, as all 12 SEC teams are represented among the top 55 teams in the ITA?s top-75 collegiate men?s tennis rankings. Florida and Vanderbilt head the list at No. 3, Kentucky comes in at No. 10 and Tennessee fills out the SEC representation at No. 54. The Southeastern Conference is the only league to have each of its member schools represented in the top 55 of the ITA collegiate men?s tennis rankings.
