Beach, Cook Named Game Captains for the Georgia Game: Sophomore tailback Arliss Beach and junior wide receiver Tommy Cook have been named game captains for the Georgia game, joining permanent captains Vincent ?Sweet Pea? Burns and Jared Lorenzen.

Last Saturday at Vanderbilt, Beach rushed for a career-high 109 yards and one touchdown, the first Wildcat over the century mark in rushing this season. He has rushed for 296 yards and seven touchdowns this season. He is playing with damaged cartilage in his knee, an injury that likely will require surgery after the season.

Cook is a starting wide receiver and a stalwart on special teams. He has caught 11 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown this season and also has made eight tackles on special teams. This is Cook?s second time this season that he has earned game-captain honors. He also was captain for the Arkansas game.

The Volunteers and Wildcats will kick off on Nov. 29 at 12:30 p.m. in Commonwealth Stadium.

Tennessee Tickets Available: Unclaimed tickets from the UK student allotment are now available to the general public for the Tennessee at Kentucky football game on Nov. 29. Tickets cost $29 for sideline seats and $22 for end zone tickets. The Memorial Coliseum Ticket Office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets also may be ordered over the phone by calling 800-928-CATS or via the Internet at ukathletics.com.

?Big Blue Crush? Underway: The annual ?Big Blue Crush? is a blood drive competition between Kentucky and Tennessee prior to the two teams squaring off on the football field. This year?s ?Big Blue Crush? is being held Nov. 17-21. Kentucky leads the series, 9-5, and there has been one tie.

In the Lexington area, fans can ?bleed blue? for the Wildcats at the CKBC office at 330 Waller Avenue. The CKBC will be open Nov. 17-21 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fans also may give blood at the CKBC offices in Somerset, Hazard, Pikeville, and Prestonsburg.
