Tigran Martirosyan and Jesse Witten each were eliminated from the 2003 Icy Hot/ITA All-American Main Draw Thursday in Chattanooga, Tenn.

After taking command early on against Baylor’s Benjamin Becker with a 6-1 first set, Martirosyan dropped the second set, 6-3. After the third set went to a tiebreaker, Martirosyan surrendered the match, losing 7-2 in the tiebreaker.

In his match with Shannon Buck of Air Force, Witten saw each of his two sets go to tiebreakers, only to lose each tiebreaker, and ultimately, the match.

Martirosyan and Witten elected not to participate in the consolation draw, thus, ending their respective stints in the Icy Hot/ITA All-American event.
