LEXINGTON, Ky. – Defending SEC Champion Kentucky opens practice for the 2003-04 men’s basketball season Friday, Oct. 17, as part of the 22nd-annual Big Blue Madness festivities. Coming off a 32-4 season that saw the Wildcats sweep through SEC play undefeated and finish the regular season ranked No. 1 in the nation, UK returns three starters and plenty of depth for Head Coach Tubby Smith’s seventh season at the helm. The Memorial Coliseum doors open at 10:30 p.m. The event will be carried live throughout the state on UKTV.

Big Blue Madness tickets available Oct. 11

The highly-coveted Big Blue Madness tickets will be available Saturday, Oct. 11, at 9 a.m. at the Memorial Coliseum ticket office. Tickets will also be available via the internet at that same time. Internet tickets come with a $2 service fee per order. There is a limit of two tickets per person for both in-person and internet orders.

Blue/White Scrimmage set for Oct. 25

The Wildcats’ Blue/White Scrimmage is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Memorial Coliseum. Tickets ($5) are currently on sale at the Memorial Coliseum Ticket Office or online at www.UKathletics.com.
