The Kentucky women’s tennis team travels to Texas for its initial fall tournament, the HEB-Baylor Fall Tennis Invitational in Waco, Texas. Play begins Friday and concludes Sunday with singles and doubles championships.

Joining the Cats in the difficult tournament field are Baylor, Auburn, Arizona, Mississippi State, SMU, Texas, Texas-Arlington and Tulane.

Coach Mark Guilbeau welcomes one lone returnee in 2003, junior Danielle Petrisko. Guilbeau has added five freshmen and two juniors into the fold, including highly-regarded Aibika Kalsarieva of Rego Park, N.Y. Guilbeau’s senior-laden squad from a year ago advanced to the NCAA’s round of 16 before being eliminated by Georgia.
